Carl H. Olsen, age 76, of Wheatfield, formerly of Briarcliff Manor, New York, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at Buffalo General Hospital.  Born in Dobbs Ferry, New York, he was the son of the late Herbert and May (nee Schultz) Olsen and was an Army Veteran.  A resident of Wheatfield for the past 14 years, Mr. Olsen was employed as a supervisor at the General Motors Plant in North Tarrytown, NY until retiring.

He is survived by his wife, Lynn (nee Vanderheite) Olsen; three daughters, Carolyn Olsen of Salt Point, New York, Debora Olsen of Yorktown Heights, New York, and Amy (Leonard) Roman of La Grangeville, New York; two grandchildren, Jesse and Jake Roman; and his sister, Margaret Olsen of Briarcliff Manor, New York.
 

Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday at the Hawthorne Funeral Home, 21 West Stevens Avenue, Hawthorne, New York.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday at St. Theresa R.C. Church, 1394 Pleasantville Road in Briarcliff Manor.  Friends invited.  Interment at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery, Sleepy Hollow, New York.
