Timothy Kanalley, age 54, passed unexpectedly on January 16th . He was born and raised in
Buffalo, NY and moved to the City of Tonawanda when he got married 27 years ago. Timothy
and his family were Disney World fanatics and considered it their home away from home. He
enjoyed tinkering with things, especially antique radios. He was an outdoorsman who knew all
the best hiking spots, and enjoyed fishing at his family’s cottage in Java Lake. He spent 23
years working as a chemist at the Town of Tonawanda Waste Water Treatment plant.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth and Rita (Romane) Kanalley. He will be dearly
missed by his loving wife Mary Sue (Reffner) Kanalley, and his children Ryan and Elizabeth.
Survived by his two siblings Patrick (Karen) Kanalley, and Colleen (George) Zybala.
A memorial service in Timothy’s memory will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers
memorials may be made to the Java Lake Conservation Fund, at Java Lake Conservation Club,
PO box 11, Java NY 14082 .
