Tanya L. (Gilman) Schutt

Tanya Lucille Schutt (née Gilman), loving wife, mother of three and grandmother of one, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 1, 2022. She was born on November 7, 1965 in Edinburgh, Scotland to Thurston Gilman and the late Grace “Joy” (Macartney) McKinnon.

Tanya loved traveling, working for JetBlue airlines, relaxing at her boat dock at The Shores and most importantly spending time with her family and walking with Jesus.

Tanya is survived by her loving husband of 30 years Charles Schutt. She will be dearly missed by her children Sasha (Mark) Marinaccio, Charles (Elizabeth) Schutt II and Matthew (Hannah) Schutt. She is also survived by her brother Sean Gilman, granddaughter Quinn Schutt, as well as several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8 at noon at The Fair Havens Church, 7337 Ward Road, North Tonawanda. The family expresses its gratitude to Roswell Park Cancer Institute and Hospice of Niagara. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to these organizations.
