Rev. Michael G. Uebler

Reverend Michael G. Uebler, age 67 of the City of Tonawanda, entered into the presence of the Lord on Friday, April 9th, 2021. Born in Buffalo, NY and grew up in the Cheektowaga area. Rev. Uebler was ordained on December 11, 1982. He had previously served at the former St. Edmund’s Church in Tonawanda and Saints Peter & Paul Church in Arcade, NY, and had also served as a Counselor at St. Mary’s High School in Lancaster.  Rev. Mike Uebler has served as the Pastor of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in the City of Tonawanda for the past 18 years. He was the son of the late Francis and Ruth (nee Wittmer) Uebler. He is the beloved brother of  Thomas (Kathleen) Uebler, Robert (Helen Mary) Uebler, Theresa (Dermott) Smyth, Maureen, (Saulo) Gaspi, Mark (Tina) Uebler, and Anne (Gary) Hoover. Also survived are many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Friends are invited to attend a walk through visitation on Sunday and Monday from 2 – 6 PM at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church, 150 Broad St. at Clinton Park in Tonawanda, a Parish Mass will be held Monday at 7 PM.  Due to Covid restrictions masks and social distancing will be required. A private concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial with the Most Reverend Bishop Michael W. Fisher as principal concelebrant will be held on Tuesday. Both services will be streamed live at stfrancistonawanda.org. Interment will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Cheektowaga. If desired memorials to St. Francis R. C. Church are preferred.
