Norma (nee Zimmer) Stallone, age 85, of Tonawanda, died Friday, July 31, 2020 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital. Born June 27, 1935 in Buffalo, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary (nee Bratjen) Zimmer. A lifelong resident of the Tonawandas, she was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish.
She was the wife of Joseph V. Stallone; mother of Lorrie A. Stallone of Florida, Joseph (Gail) Stallone, Jr. of Orchard Park, and Christine (Craig) Hamilton of Buffalo; grandmother of Jessica Knuteson, Alyssa Scudder, Evan Stallone, Deandra Lasanti, and Johnathan Stallone; great-grandmother of Garrett Knuteson and Carter Smith; and sister of William Zimmer of Malakoff, Texas, and the late Frank Zimmer, James Zimmer, and Alice Alexander. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM Tuesday morning at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad Street at Clinton Park, Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. If desired, memorials to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital are preferred by the family.
