Lawrence T. Graner, age 87, of Kenmore, died Friday June 18, 2021 at Beachwood Continuing Care, in Getzville. Born in Franklin, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Carl and Mary (nee Clune) Graner. After high school graduation, Lawrence enlisted and served for 6 years in the United States Marine Corps. A resident of Kenmore for more than 50 years, he was a member of St. Paul's R.C. Church. He graduated from Bryant & Stratton College. Before retiring, Mr. Graner worked in the trust department of M&T Bank.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of over 53 years, Dolores E. Graner (Zuilkoski).He is survived by his five children, James E. (Sunny) Graner of Lynn Haven, Florida, Julie (Edward) Zupkov of Lancaster, New York, Stephen (Lorie) Graner of Cranford, New Jersey, Susan M. (Darren) Graner of Buffalo, New York, and Lawrence (Mary Jo) Graner of Williamsville, New York; a brother, Ronald Graner, of Akron, Ohio. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Alyssa, Adam, David Edward, Katie, Andrew, Colleen, David Aaron and Kara; a great-granddaughter, Hanna, and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul's R.C. Church, Delaware and Victoria in Kenmore, on Tuesday beginning at 10am. Friends may call from 4p-7p on Tuesday at FRETTHOLD & HAMP FUNERAL HOME, 37 Adam Street at Seymour in Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to the American Parkinson's Disease Association are preferred.
