Joanne Keef

Joanne Keef, age 75, of the Town of Tonawanda, passed away suddenly on November 2nd. Joanne had a passion for lighthouses. She also loved listening to Queen and Michael Jackson. Joanne always seemed to be a part of everything and always included herself in on the family fun. She had a fantastic sense of humor, and always seemed to cheer everyone up. She helped to raise her grandkids, and took great care of her family. She really enjoyed watching big cat documentaries, scary movies and Fraiser. 

She was the wife of the late Nelson Keef, and daughter of the late Mike & Constance Gianiodis. She will be missed by her siblings John (Marla) Gianiodis, Nora (Herb Wilber) Townsend, Bill (Lona) Gianiodis, Callie (George) Farber, and Mickey (Walt) Imhof. Cherished mother of Michael (Mary Newman) Dolan, Patty Dolan, and Nicole Rodriguez. Loving grandmother to April, Yvette, Diana, A.J., Matthew, and Kaley. Great-grandmother to Rudy and Lucy. Step-mother to Valerie Christ and Eddie Keef.

Family and friends may call at Fretthold & Hamp Funeral Home, located at 37 Adam St. in Tonawanda,  on Sunday, November 7th from 2pm – 5pm. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
