Herman F. & Betty J. Wrege

Betty J. Wrege (Fiala) age 91, entered into rest on October 4, 2020, and her beloved husband of 70 years, Herman F. “Skip” Wrege, age 91, joined her on December 7, 2020. They were the loving parents of John Wrege, Linda Jaspersen, Karen Hormachea and Laura Cunningham. They were grandparents of 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.  Betty was a devoted mother and wife who worked as a teachers aide in the Tonawanda School District and served as a Eucharistic Minister at St. Francis of Assisi R. C. Church in Tonawanda. She was on the Restoration Committee of the St. Francis of Assisi Chapel where she and her husband will be put to rest. Skip was a WWII U. S. Navy veteran. He had worked early in his career as the Foreman in the metal model shop for the Wurlitzer Company, later on he became owner and operator of Rege Precision Tooling Inc.  He was a life-long member of the Gratwick Hose Fire Co.  Because of the current Covid 19 restrictions the family will be holding services privately. If so desired donations may be made in their honor to Hospice Buffalo, or the VA of Western New York, Home based Primary Care.
