Gifford R. Peck

Gifford R. Peck, age 82, of the City of Tonawanda, January 16, 2021, in Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital after a brief illness.  Gifford was a U.S. Army veteran, retiring from the Army after 38 years of service. He had also worked as a printer for Royal Printing in Buffalo. He was a Life-long member of Union Hook & Ladder in the City of Tonawanda, and a Life-long member of the Grand Island Volunteer Fire Company.  He was an active ember of the United Methodist Church of Tonawanda.  He was the husband of the late Barbara A. (Roe) Peck.  Beloved father of Lori (late Sidney) Tyrrell, Amyjo (Dan) DeCarlo, and Dawn (George) Garbutt.  Grandfather of Brittany and Tyler Peck and Dylan Richards.  Friends may call at the Frettholf & Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam St., Tonawanda on Friday from 5-7 PM.  A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday beginning at 7 P.M.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675 or Veteran’s Hospital.
