Elaine E. Davis

Elaine E. Davis, age 87, of Tonawanda, on January 28, 2024. She was the daughter of R. Walter and Evelyn Lane. Loving wife of the late William Davis. Mother of Scott Davis, Rebecca (Barry) Strauss, Lane (Michael) Richart, Michele (late John) Reif. Cherished grandmother of William Davis, Donald (Tina) Davis, Christopher Davis, Deidra (Jessica) Dooley-Davis, Aerielle Davis, Adriene (Thomas) Bukowski, Walter Richart, Katherine (James McKinney) Lee, Elizabeth (Christopher Muscarella) Reif, and the late Jeffrey Richart.  Great-Grandmother to 23 and great-great-grandmother to 1. She also leaves behind her best friend of 68 years, Laurel Bleyle, and her beloved “Lovey”.

Elaine was a second-generation owner of Lane Jewelers, a life-long resident of the City of Tonawanda, and a 1954 graduate of Tonawanda High School. Most importantly, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend.

Friends may call at Fretthold and Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam Street, corner of Seymour Street, on Thursday, February 1st, from 2:00PM – 6:00PM, where a funeral service will start at 6:00PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the organization of your choice.
