Obituary
Dolores A Truszkowski, age 86, of North Tonawanda, passed away peacefully on February 23rd. She was a nurse’s aide at Degraff Memorial Hospital for 20 years and upon retirement, she began home health care. She loved to swim and was an excellent bowler. Above all, Dolores cherished her family and the time she spent with them. She was the daughter of the late Warren and Evelyn White, loving wife of the late Vincent Truszkowski and cherished mother of Martin (Sandy Brant) McMahon, Carol (late James) Doyle, and the late William McMahon; mother-in-law to Tina McMahon. She was the cherished sister of Lillian White, Mary Lou (the late Jack) Hahn, Sister Mary Veronica White SSMN, and the late Shirley (Albert) Pandolfi, Warren (Evelyn) White, and Robert White. Loving grandmother of James (Blake) Doyle and Billy McMahon, great-grandmother of Elliot and Ethan. She will also be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may call at Fretthold & Hamp Funeral Home, located at 37 Adam Street, in Tonawanda, on Tuesday from 2pm to 5:30pm. A prayer service will begin immediately following, at 5:30pm. Interment will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Condolences may be shared at FrettholdandHamp.com.
