Cecilia A. Schmitt passed away peacefully on June 7, 2022 at age 97.

She was the wife of the late Donald Schmitt. She was predeceased by her daughter Cynthia Schmitt, her granddaughter Sara Ward, and by her brother Nelson (Lorraine) Heidenrich. She will be missed by her son Ronald ( Bonnie nee Jones) Schmitt, her son-in-law Guy Ward, and her sister Jerry (Bill) Walter. Loving grandmother of Jenifer Ward, Stephanie Chadwick, Ericka (Tom) Durack. Great-grandmother of Chelsea, Julia, Jack, Irie, Katelyn, and Emily. Great-great grandmother to Benjamin.

Friends and family are invited to Fretthold & Hamp Funeral home, located at 37 Adam Street in Tonawanda, on Friday June 10th from 10-11:30. A funeral service will begin at 11:30. Interment at Acacia Park Cemetery.
