Stephanie O. (Waszczuk) Zerinchak

Stephanie (nee Waszczuk) Zerinchak, age 80, of Tonawanda, died Monday, September 30, 2019 at her residence under the care of Hospice. Born October 5, 1938 in North Tonawanda, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Vera (nee Karczewska) Waszczuk and was a lifelong resident of the Tonawandas. Stephanie was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Tonawanda and a former religious education teacher at the church. She had been employed as a teacher's aide for several years.

She was the wife of Kenneth Zerinchak; and mother of Dawn (the late Gerald) Campbell of North Tonawanda, Brenda (Robert) Simpson of East Amherst, Paul (Julie) Hansen of the Town of Tonawanda, Michael (Laura) Hansen of Conroe, Texas, and Cheryl (Kevin) Herrmann of Amherst. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 4-7 PM on Wednesday only at the HAMP FUNERAL HOME, Inc., 37 Adam Street at Seymour, Tonawanda. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 AM Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 150 Broad Street, Tonawanda; the Rev. Michael Uebler officiating. Friends invited. Interment will be cared for privately at Elmlawn Cemetery, Town of Tonawanda. If desired, memorials to Hospice Buffalo, PO Box 590, Buffalo, NY 14240, are preferred by the family.
