We are sad to announce the passing of Michael Paul Hallett, M.D. of Buffalo, New York. Dr. Hallett died at the age 64 on March 14, 2024. Dr. Hallett passed away surrounded by his loved ones who tirelessly supported him during his battle with cancer. He loved his big family, his dogs, and his practice of medicine, where he was able to help so many patients in the community. Dr. Hallett was a proud founding partner of Suburban Psychiatric Associates, LLP in Amherst, New York.
Dr. Hallett is survived by his loving wife, Olga Norela; his sons Andrew, Nathaniel (William), and Trevor; his daughters Ashley (Felipe) Rivera-Nieves, Zilvic (Dwayne) Palmer, and Francesca; his grandchildren Dwayne, Nolan, Sadie, Aliana, Isabella, and Amara; his brothers and sisters Charles (Maureen), Jane (Kevin) Donovan, Colleen (Thomas) Perryman, Carol (James) Bedard, Sharon Higgins, and Joseph; and his many caring nieces and nephews. Dr. Hallett was predeceased by his parents, Charles and Joan, and his sister, Maureen (Edward) Sand.
Visitation will be held at Fretthold & Hamp Funeral Home, 37 Adam Street, Tonawanda, New York 14150, on Sunday, March 17, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. immediately followed by a funeral service. In lieu of sending flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Dr. Hallett’s name to Hospice & Palliative Care Buffalo.
